Mr. Clemon Smith Trivette, age 87, of Deep Gap, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Watauga Medical Center in Boone . Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pn Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Liberty Grove Baptist Church with Rev. John Elledge, Rev. Jerry Revis, and Rev. Garrett Mahaffey officiating. Burial will follow in the Watson Cemetery in Deep Gap with military rites. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 7:00- 9:00pm at the Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Trivette was born in Ashe County on Wednesday, April 18, 2010 to the late Jefferson and Hattie Greer Trivette. He was an Agricultural Farmer. He is survived by his wife, Della Cox Trivette, of Deep Gap; two sons, JC Trivette, of Fleetwood and David Trivette of West Jefferson; a step-son, Ronald Triplett, of Deep Gap; two step-daughter, Brenda Dew, of Wilkesboro and Phyllis Triplett, of Wilkes County; two brothers, JL Trivette, of West Jefferson, Melvin Trivette, of Deep Gap; three sisters, Opal Bumgardner, of Lenoir, Eula Smith, of Winston Salem, Dessie Mae Roark, of Creston; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren & several nieces and nephews also survive.
