Mrs. Audrey Carol Stidhams Denny, age 59, of Warrensville passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jamie Denny and Rev. Earl Roten officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson-Denny Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 6:00 PM-8:00pm at the Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Denny was born in Ashe County on Wednesday, November 22, 1950 to the late Ed and Effie Wiles Stidhams. She was a wonderful homemaker and she loved her family greatly. She will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Denny; a son, Frank Denny, of Warrensville; two daughters, Amy Howell and husband, Randy, of Crumpler and Michelle Denny, of Lenoir; her mother, Effie Stidhams, of Lansing; two brothers, David Stidhams, of West Jefferson and Larry Stidhams, of Elizabethton, TN; a sister, Debbie Miller, of Virginia; three grandchildren, Shefawn Burgess, Talia Burgess and April Pittman; several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted.
