Mrs. Dorothy Ann Foster Gentry, age 75, of Fleetwood died Thursday, November 4, 2010 evening at her home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Monday, November 8, 2010 at the Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Fleetwood. The family will receive friends at 1:00-2:00pm, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Gentry was born in Ashe County on Monday, October 7, 1935 to the late Todd and Virginia Maxwell Foster. She retired from Tyson Foods. She was a member of St. Johns Baptist Church. Mrs. Gentry is survived by three daughters, Judy Boykin and husband, Donald, of Clinton, Nancy Gwendolyn Robinson and husband, Darryl, of Raleigh and Kathy Shuford and husband, Artis, of Kernersville; six grandchildren, Dominique Boykin, Donavon Boykin, Shawan Robinson, Joy Robinson, Kendra Shuford and Stefan Shuford; two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Cassidy; a host of other family and friends that loved her.
