David Charles Eller, age 63, of West Jefferson died Wednesday night, November 17, 2010 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at the Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Dollar and Rev. Jim Greer officiating. Burial will follow in the Eller Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 - 12:00, one hour prior to the funeral at the Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Eller was born in Ashe County on Monday, August 25, 1947 to the late Joshua Bruce and Willa Dean Richardson Eller. He was an Agricultural Farmer. He was also preceded in death by a son, Marvin Brian Eller and a brother, J.B. Eller. He is survived by his wife, Betty Sue Hart Eller, of the home; a David Eller and wife Crystal, of Warrensville; two step-sons, Mark Brooks of Jefferson and Michael Brooks, of West Jefferson; a step-daughter, Debra Tolbert, of Jefferson; two grandchildren, Stephen Eller and Cailey Eller, both of Warrensville; two step-grandchildren, Justin Brooks and Shane Francis, both of West Jefferson; several great-grandchildren; a special caregiver, Pansy Hart also survive.
