Mrs. Jacqulyn Bare Sheets, better known as "Jackie", age 77, of Jefferson passed away Monday afternoon, December 13, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 11:00am at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Hospice Chaplin Virginia Peurifoy and Elder Floyd South officiating. Burial will follow in Roans Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00am on Wednesday, prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Sheets was born in Ashe County on Tuesday, January 24, 1933 to the late Fidel Bare and Belle Bare Kovach. She was a member of Roans Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willard Allen Sheets on November 16, 1998. Mrs. Sheets is survived by four sons, Greg Sheets and wife, Kathy, of Jefferson, Jeff Sheets and wife, Tina, of Jefferson, Timmy Sheets and wife, Trina, of Jefferson and Tracy Sheets, of Jefferson; a daughter, Gina Sheets, of Jefferson; a brother, John Bare and wife, Marguerite, of New London, PA; a sister, Leanna Harlan and husband, Charles, of Knottingham, PA; eleven grandchildren, Ashley Sheets, Jessica Sheets, Annie Hager, Chandler Christensen, Savannah Sheets, Seth Sheets, Dylan Sheets, Theran Sheets, Josh Sheets, Jason Sheets, Bryan Sheets; two great-grandchildren, Alexa Sheets and Joce Sheets; several nieces and nephews also survive.
