Mrs. Alma Belle Elliott Houck, of West Jefferson passed away on Wednesday morning, November 12, 2008 in her care-givers home in Bethlehem. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 11:00am at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lawrence Goodman and Speaker Bronda Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am on Saturday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Houck was born in Ashe County to the late Charlie Monroe Elliott and Mary Ann Arnold Elliott. She was a Homemaker. She was a long time member at the Bald Mountain Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bradley Houck. She is survived by a sister, Ester Woodie of Lansing; several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers are accepted.
