Clarcie Sullivan Greer, age 79, of Lansing, the Greer Hollow Community, died Friday afternoon, March 18, 2011 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 21, 2011, at 2:00 PM at the Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Shepherd and Rev. Julian Owen officiating. Interment will follow in the Howell Hill Cemetery in Lansing, NC. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, March 20, 2011 from 6 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Greer was born in Ashe County on December 12, 1931 to the late Glenn and Chloa Howell Sullivan. She was married to the late Raymond Elsworth Greer. She is survived by one son; Roger Sullivan and wife, Kyria, of Lowell, NC; a granddaughter, Raina Sullivan; several nieces and nephews.
