Mrs. Elizabeth Mae Weaver Eldreth, better known as "Liz" age 67, of Warrensville passed away Wednesday morning, May 25, 2011 at Watauga Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 8:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. JC Darnell and Rev. William Greer officiating. Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 11:00am at Latham Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00pm on Friday, prior to the funeral service. Liz was born in Rising Sun, Maryland on Tuesday, September 14, 1943 to the late Clarence Earnest and Virginia Pearl Ashley Weaver. She was a Dietitian at Ashe Memorial Hospital. She loved animals especially her dogs. She had a green thumb when it came to flowers. She also enjoyed cooking good meals for her family on her wood stove. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Eldreth. Mrs. Eldreth is survived by three sons, Michael John Eldreth and wife, Kitty, of Lansing, Steven Paul Eldreth, and wife, Denise, of Warrensville and Earnest George Eldreth, and wife, Kimberly, of Warrensville; a daughter, Debra Jean Lyall and husband, Donnie, of Warrensville; two brothers, Jack Weaver and wife, Martha, of Warrensville and Ernie Weaver, and wife, Sherry, of Lansing; five grandchildren, Doneva Dean Lyall, Jonathan Michael Eldreth, Steven Douglas Eldreth, Dakota Brooke Eldreth and Keyla Mae Eldreth; two step-grandchildren, Nathan Blevins and Matthew Blevins; a great-grandchild, Garrison Joel Eldreth; several nieces and nephews also survive.
