Norma, When I heard about Miss Gracie's passing this morning I said "oh, I know where she is". She is in heaven. I do not know if you recall me.I was office manager at Physical Therapy Services Center. I loved to see Ms. Gracie come in and get to talk with her. She was always cold...so, when it was near her appointment time I would heat a sheet in the dryer to wrap aroung her.She was so grateful for every little thing you did for her. I missed her so much after I retired four years ago. I should have kept in touch with her. I rejoice that she is no longer in pain. What a lovely testimony she had. May God Bless you.

Miss Grace loved Ashe Co and prayed fervently for the people here. BUT today she is with the Lord and safe at home. Thank you to Rose who took such good care of her. Blessings to her family.

We've broken bread together many times over the past 14 years & after the blessing we'd say Amen, Amen, Amen! We'll miss you Dear Gracie, Dom & Rose. I believe this poem states Gracie's heart to all:â€œThis last one favorâ€� - Weâ€™ve come to end our walk together, here on this earthly ground. I ask you - consider the God I call friend, and look toward He who calls me found. We are all just one breath away, from the step that continues through. Today choose the leap of faith, For here in Heaven, I long to again see you. Open your heart to Christ who loves you, Welcome Him in to renew your soul. Spend eternity alive with the King of Kings, at your last breath, be ready to go. My dear ones, my family, my friends - Please bid me, this last one favor. What a blessing to have known Grace Rash! I first met her at a Pro-Life meeting 18 years ago. She introduced herself to me as "Grace Rash -- like an itch." That began a friendship that has endured over these many years. I will always cherish the countless times I spent in her home discussing politics, her history in Ashe County, our families, and spiritual matters. She used to say, "Martha, the only thing that is going to fix this mess [in America] is a spiritual revival." She was so right then and even more so now. Even though we moved from the area eight years ago, we still kept in touch by phone and cards and an occasional visit. Grace was my confidant and spiritual mentor. We prayed together, sometimes shared tears, and always laughter. I will miss my dear, dear friend, but I look forward to the day when we can once again be reunited in our heavenly home.
