Mr. Richard Glenn Miller, age 51, of Fleetwood, passed away Monday evening, July 11, 2011 at Randolph Hospital. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00pm on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held privately. Mr. Miller was born in Ashe County on April 21, 1960 to the late L.E. and Louise Goins Miller. He worked in construction. He is survived by five brothers, Morris Miller and wife, Shelia, of Fleetwood, Elbert Miller, of Fleetwood, Clayton Miller, of Fleetwood, Ronnie Miller and wife, Lisa, of Fleetwood and Roger Miller, of Lenoir; five sisters, Wilma Turner and husband, Johnny, of Lenoir, Marie Grimes, of Boone, Jeannette Conrad and husband, John, of Winston-Salem, Wanda Shammas and husband, Michael, of Virginia Beach, VA and Glenda Miller, of Alphretta, GA; three half-sisters, Beatrice Kelsey, of Fleetwood, Lois Miller, of White Plains, NY and Mae Miller of White Plains, NY; several nieces and nephews also survive.
