Maxine Walker Thomas, age 84, of Jefferson died Saturday evening at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at the Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Hart and Rev. David Grinnell officiating. Burial will follow in the Senter Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Thomas is survived by: Her Husband - Okey Thomas of Jefferson 1 - Brother - Joe Walker of Crumpler Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family respectfully requests no food please.
