Mrs. Evone Miller Graybeal, age 91, of Jefferson passed away Monday afternoon, August 1, 2011 at her home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 11:00am at West Jefferson City Cemetery with Rev. A.B. Weaver and Rev. Lawrence Goodman officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, August 5, 2011 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Graybeal was born in Ashe County on Friday, November 14, 1919 to the late Carl Miller and Hala Melinda Woodie Miller. She worked as an Insurance Agent. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, R.C. Miller and Carlton Miller and a sister, Bobbie Francis. She is survived by a son, Jack Barr and wife, Marsha, of Jefferson; a sister, Donna Reeves, of West Jefferson; three grandchildren Michelle Harris, of Canton, Georgia, Hope Willis of Decatur, Georgia and Jennifer Barr, of Cumming, Georgia; four great-grandchildren Taylor Harris, of Canton, Georgia, Spenser Willis, of Decatur, Georgia, Brooke Harris, of Canton, Georgia and C.J. Harris, of Canton, Georgia; several nieces and nephews also survive.
