Mr. Warren Jordan Sullivan, age 89, of Lansing died Monday morning, September 12, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 1:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Julian Owen officiating. Burial will follow in the Sullivan Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00pm on Wednesday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mr. Sullivan was born in Ashe County on Wednesday, May 31, 1922 to the late Wilson and Ida Mae Sturgill Sullivan. He sold cars at Twin City Chevrolet for many years. He served as a chairman of Ashe County Republican Party and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. In his spare time, he enjoyed farming. He also was a Christmas Tree Farmer. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Reba Mae Faw Sullivan; a son, Ronnie Sullivan and a grandson, Dustin Sullivan. He is survived by two sons, Michael Sullivan and wife, April, of Lansing and Jeff Sullivan, of Lansing; a brother, Harry Sullivan and wife, Helen, of Lansing; a sister, Ruby Barlett, of Lansing; a grandson, Zachary; several nieces and nephews also survive.
