Mrs. Fannie McClure Church, age 83, of Lansing passed away Sunday morning, October 30, 2011 at Margate Health & Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Sheets and Rev. Joe Riley Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Scott-Blevins Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00-8:00 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Church was born in Ashe County on Saturday, May 12, 1928 to the late Rev. Edward Rufus and Edna Eller McClure. She spent her time as a housewife. She is survived by her husband Clifford Church; three sons; Roger Church and wife JoAnn of Lansing; Kenny Church and wife Janet, of Swainsboro, GA; and Mike Church of Creston; one daughter; Debbie Pruitt and husband Mickey of Crumpler; two sisters; Hazel Dillard of Wilmington DE; and Mozell Powers and husband Elmer of Lansing; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
