Mrs. Deborah Lynn Day Price, better known as "Debbie' age 55 of Jefferson passed away Friday evening, November 4, 2011 at North Carolina Baptist Medical Center. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 2:00pm at Jefferson City Cemetery with Rev. Reeves Jones officiating. Mrs. Price was born in Ashe County on May 19, 1956 to the late Herbert Garland and Margaret Grace Jones Day. She was a clerk in a grocery store. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Russell Day and Ronald Day. She is survived by a son, Chad Stewart Price, of Jefferson, NC; a brother, Herbert Day, Jr. of West Jefferson; four sisters, Louise Hart, of Laurel Springs, Shirley McMillian, of Jefferson, Wanda Bare, of Jefferson and Margaret Marsh, of Winston Salem; several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Association/o Renea Adams, 372 Oscar Day Road, Jefferson, NC 28640.
