Mrs. Alta Lee Toliver, age 83, of Todd, passed away Friday morning, November 4, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm on Monday, November 7, 2011at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Holmes and Rev. Guy Testerman officiating. Burial will follow in the Toliver Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 11:00-1:00pm on Monday at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Toliver was born in Ashe County, on Thursday, September 27, 1928 to the late Calvin Eugene Toliver, Sr. and Biddie Lee Perkins. She was a Homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers; Earl Toliver, Mason Toliver, and Ray Toliver; and one sister; Elsie Toliver. She is survived by three brothers; Shirley Toliver of the home, Herbert Toliver of Cockerville, PA, and Calvin Toliver, Jr. of Todd; one sister; Louise Adams of Oxford, PA. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers are accepted! The family will be meeting at the homeplace; 1458 Bald Fork Rd., Todd, NC.
