My memories of Wanda go way back to Nathans Creek Elem. Wanda was truly a "lady". She always had a smile for everyone. Her concern and gentle ways for others was so genuine and rare these days.
She was one of those people who made you feel good just by being around her. My thoughts and prayers go with you Odell, Melanie and Allyson as you face this most difficult time. Wanda will be missed but she will always hold a place in our hearts and memories. Love and God Bless.

Odell, Melanie and Mike, Alyson and Jim,
Wanda was a great source of inspiration to me and my family. We are truly blessed for knowing Wanda. Her gentle ways, kind spirit, genuine concern and always recognizing the best in everyone will long be remembered. When Wanda would spend the summer in Virginia, I always felt a loss and looked forward to her return for school to begin. Just knowing she was close by gave great comfort. May God grant you comfort during the coming days. Treasure all your memories and recall them often.

Odell, Alyson and Melanie, we are very sorry about the Home going of your loved one.
When Wanda and I went to West Jeffeson High School, my sister Polly and I became good friends with Wanda and were until we all graduated together after that we just all went out separate ways. I wound up moving to Maryland and we just lost touch. Wanda was so special and we had fun together and all that time she was always smiling and so sweet. What a great tetimony she had. I haven't seen her since the school reunion back in the 70's and she looked so beautiful as always so when I learned of her sickness about 10 days ago I called her and we talked like we always did and it was great. She and Polly are together now with the Lord. We are so sorry for your loss. God will be holding you in His arms.
1:Peter 5:7, cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you. God bless.

Our most heartfelt sympathy goes to the family of Mrs. Little. She was such a caring and giving person. We were amazed at how she remembered so many of the students from Nathans Creek. She always had a smile and kind word when she would see you. She was one of my favorite people during my school years. She will be deeply missed in this world, but a blessing above. Prayers to her family, to bring peace in knowing that she was well loved and greatly appreciated. She will not be forgotten.

Dear Odell, Allison, and Melanie, I am so sorry to hear of Wanda's passing. I was very fortunate to be able to interact with Wanda and Odell as role models for me growing up. I still remember the NPC trips your family and my family would go on when I was a small child. I remember how warm and kind Wanda was and how she always made me feel welcomed. As an adult, we all seem to go our separate ways, but we never forget the people who helped us along the way. I will never forget Wanda. A beautiful light is shinning in Heaven right now. I love you all, and my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Dear Odell, Allyson, and Melanie,
I was very saddened to hear of Wanda's passing. I know this is a very difficult time for you and your families. I have such wonderful memories of Wanda not only while growing up but also as an adult. I still remember all the fun we had when we were young spending time at Mabry Mill in the Summers as well as those NPC trips to Mexico and Hawaii. Wanda was a wonderful, unique person and very special to everyone in the Lewis Family. She was always upbeat, sweet, loving and caring to everyone she encountered. She was a breath of fresh air and will always be remembered fondly. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow.
