Mr. Gregory Alan Osborne, age 34, of Creston passed away Saturday afternoon, December 16, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Lyalls and Rev. Jamie Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Osborne Family Cemetery on Peak Road in Creston. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm on Monday, two hours prior to the funeral service. Mr. Osborne was born in Ashe County on April 26, 1977 to James Franklin and Jackie McDonald Osborne. He worked at United Chemi-Con. He graduated from Northwest Ashe High School in 1996. He loved to ride his horse "Red." He is survived by his parents, Jim and Jackie Osborne, of Creston; a brother, Jamie Osborne, of Creston; a nephew, Bo Osborne; his maternal grandparents, Arvie and Pauline Lynch, of Lansing; his paternal grandparents, James and Mary Lee Osborne, of Creston; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survives. Flowers will be accepted! The family will be meeting at 966 Peak Road in Creston.
