Mr. Lewis Wilmer Seatz, age 66, of Todd passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2008 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edward Junior Seatz officiating. Burial will follow in the Grubb Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2pm on Friday, two hours prior to the funeral service. Mr. Seatz was born in Ashe County on Friday, April 24, 1942 to the late Ernest Wilmer and Minnie Stephens Seatz. He enjoyed working on his farm and especially loved his horses. He is survived by one son, Donald Seatz and Becky of Todd; one daughter, Lisa Calloway and husband Roger of Morganton; four brothers, Edward Seatz and wife Linda of Creston, John Seatz and wife Pauline of Creston, Bobby Seatz and wife of Todd, Tommy Seatz and wife Sue of Wisconsin; three sisters, Norine McGuire of Wilkes, Mary Parsons and husband Mike of Statesville, Lola Churchwell and husband of Georgia; two grandchildren, Christopher Seatz of Ashe County, and Eric Calloway of Morganton.
