William G. Wood (Bill), 86 of King George went home to be with the lord on Wednesday Dec.21, 2011. Survivors include: two children: son, Dwight Wood and Daughter: Vickie Anderson with her husband James; all of King George. He also survived by his sisters-Annie Brown, Minnie Lemley, and his brother Larry Wood-all of North Carolina. Bill also had 7 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends, he was also a member of King George Church of God. A grave side service will be held at 11am Wednesday on Dec.28 at Bethany Cemetery, Baldwin North Carolina officiated by Rev. Laurence Goodman. Boone Family Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
