I have many memories of Mr. Osborne as my math teacher at Beaver Creek High School. His teaching practices were based on learning, and that's exactly what you did... you learned from Mr. Osborne. He was a gentle man who always knew you by name, and met you in the hall with a smile. He was a fine person who will be greatly missed. Prayers to the Osborne family.

Dear Osborne Family, Mr. Osborne was one of my favorite teachers at BCHS. He always had a smile for everyone he met. I'm sure he's smiling now, resting in the arms of God. I am very saddened at hearing about Mr. Osborne's passing, but I know what a fine man he was. I know that he is in a much better place now. I have such fond memories of him as my teacher in several math classes. He was such a good teacher! I learned so much in his classes and enjoyed his humor and funny stories. And it was so nice meeting him in the hallway during the day, he always had that beautiful smile on his face! He will be missed, but I will see him again some day.

There are SO many memories with Uncle Marvin to treasure. I suppose our constant little joke through the years that I will always remember would be that we called each other by a name we thought was...'humorous' - I called him 'Gertrude', and I was nicknamed 'George'. When I would come home for a visit...I can still hear him now..."HELLO George! "When I responded "HELLO Gertrude!", there was ALWAYS a BIG HAPPY chuckle & smile waiting for me...I loved to see him smile and get tickled!!!! What a blessing he was, and continues to be. This in NOT goodbye, only a new chapter in our Master's story...Uncle Marvin's part is just on Heaven's stage a bit before mine :-)

I am so sorry to learn of Mr. Osborne's passing. Of course, I remember him from our high school days, and my Aunt Mary talked of your Mom and Dad affectionately as neighbors for a short time. Joanne (Norris)Underwood has shared several "stories" about times with your Dad. May all the good memories comfort you and the family at this time.

Dear Polly, Eddie, Brenda, David and Michael,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Marvin’s passing, and I would like to convey my deepest sympathy to you and your extended family.
Marvin was one of the rare individuals that I’ve had the privilege to know. Marvin had a very profound positive influence in my life as an outstanding role model. He was a role model in so many ways --- as a neighbor, as an educator, as a church leader, as a man and as a gentlemen. He will forever be in my memory and I am thankful that he was a part of my life.
I am sorry I was unable to attend his service to show my respect, for I was on business travel in Oklahoma City. Please accept my apology.
I have wonderful memories of the many times we have shared in our past and look forward to seeing you again soon!
Respectively Yours, Dennis Severt
