Mrs. Melinda Church Fumich, age 49, of Calumet City, Illinois, died Monday, March 12, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 2:00pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Deep Gap with Rev. Paul Coffey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 18, 2012 from 1:00-2:00pm one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Mrs. Fumich was born in Elkton, Maryland on Sunday, September 23, 1962. She is survived by her husband, Michael Fumich; one son, Michael Paul Fumich of Joplin, Missouri; parents, Sammy & Shirley Church of Jefferson; Two brothers, Blake Church and Neal Church of Fleetwood; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will be meeting at the homeplace of Sammy and Shirley Church; 300 Wade Bare Rd in Jefferson.
