Mr. Charles Franklin Braithwaite III, age 90, of Jefferson died Wednesday March 14, 2012 at Segraves Nursing Care Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Braithwaite was born Friday, September 17, 1920 to the late Charles Franklin Braithwaite II and Alma Keil. Mr. Braithwaite served in the United States Air Force during World War II and Vietnam. He retired from the Air Force in 1970. He is survived by his two daughters; Janet Braithwaite of Mouth of Wilson, and Susan Forehand of Milliken, Colorado; and one grandson.
