Mrs. Darrell Johnson Worth, age 82, of Wilkesboro, formerly of Ashe County passed away on Friday morning, December 12, 2008 at Britthaven Nursing Home in Wilkesboro. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at 5pm at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Lewis Poag officiating. Mrs. Worth was born in Ashe County on Monday, July 19, 1926 to the late William Johnson and Mabel Shepherd Johnson. She was a Homemaker. She is survived by a daughter, Veronica Gail Worth, of Honolulu, Hawaii; several nieces and nephews also survive.
