Mrs. Mary Lee Hartman, age 83, of Thomasville, formerly of West Jefferson passed away Wednesday night, April 24, 2012 at Pine Ridge Health and Rehabilitation center in Thomasville. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 2:00pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Winston-Salem with Rev. Charlie Martin officiating. Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 2:00pm at West Jefferson City Cemetery with Rev. Ken Morris officiating. Mrs. Hartman was born in Forsyth County on Thursday, June 7, 1928 to the late William Roosevelt Adams and Minnie Blevins. She was a member of West Jefferson United Methodist Church and also worked in office at Sears. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Oliver Hartman. Mrs. Hartman is survived by two sons; James Hartman and wife Marian of Cary, NC, and Thomas Lee Hartman and wife Debbie of West Jefferson; one daughter; Cynthia Dillard and husband John of Thomasville; two brothers; Jimmy Adams of Winston Salem, and Jack Adams of Winston Salem; three sisters; Peggy Joyner of Mocksville, Ethel Barber of Winston Salem, and Linda Cantrell of Clemmons; three grandchildren; Matthew Dillard and Jess Dillard of Thomasville, and Tara Gud of Charlotte; one great grandchild; Kyrie Pennington of Charlotte.
