Mr. Larry Dean Hamm, Jr. better known as "Dean", age 44, of Lansing passed away Saturday morning, April 28, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 11:00am at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Johnson and Rev. Tommy Dollar officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery in Rich Hill. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 6:30-8:30pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Hamm was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland on Saturday, October 7, 1967 to the Larry and Margaret Richards Ham. He was a member of Bethel Church, where he loved to do work for the Lord. He had a love of painting pictures and making crafts. He also enjoyed collecting lighthouses. He is survived by his wife, of 20 years of marriage, Janet Barker Hamm, ; one son; Jacob Earl Hamm of Lansing; Parents; Larry and Margaret Ham of Creston; one brother; Michael Lee Hamm of Lincolnton; one sister; Cindy Hamm Johnson of West Jefferson; mother-in-law; Wilma Barker of Lansing; sister-in-law; Betty Miller of Jefferson; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
