In lighting this candle I am reminded of what light Bart brought to those that knew him. His warmth, his humility, his steadfastness and his desire to help others without thought of himself is an inspiration and model for us all. Well done good and faithful servant. Blessed be.

We are so sorry for your loss. Bart was a wonderful man. Super Bowl will not be the same without seeing his smiling face there! Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time! We love you guys!!
A cousin and a friend forever. We're going to miss you - that's a given! Rest in peace oh gentleman, you deserve it. See you when it's our time. Say "hi" to our Jim for us....Rosie and John
I first met Bart several years ago while delivering Meals on Wheels here in Ashe County. Never have I met a kinder or more giving person. He was the very essence of the word "gentleman".
Our family sends our deepest sympathy to your family during this time of great lost.
May the God of comfort bind your hearts and bring peace to your family.
