Jerry and family: my heart is heavy with the loss of Brenda. So sorry and cannot imagine what you are going through. Loved her like a sister, all the years we worked together, we laughed and cried together like family and missed her dearly when she left. Found a picture a week ago of us girls at the bank making memories and having a ball. She faxed me a message after she left saying how much she missed and loved us as we did her, I still have that fax in a notebook to remind of the good times we had together, I will surely miss this wonderful lady I call my friend. Thank you Brenda for the joy of knowing you

To the entire family;I don't know what to say. It is such a shock to know she has gone before us, but from knowing Brenda I know she is in God's care. When I was a clerk at the Lansing Post Office next door to the bank where Brenda was working, she would come over to get the mail or to buy stamps ect. She always had a smile for you and took the time to ask how you were. She was a special person. I have'nt seen her in a good while, but she was always the same no matter where you ran into her.Tammy I know she must have been a special sister in law. Hold on to the memories those no one can take away. My heart goes out to you. You will be remembered in my thoughts and prayer's.

Jerry, Kids, Larry, Liz, Garry, Nancy, Ricky, Tammy I am so, so sorry for your loss. I just can't believe she's gone. I loved Brenda. She was always the same every time I saw her. Always had a smile, joke or story. I saw her a few weeks ago and talked to her a long time. She wasn't having a good day that day, was down and out, but before she left, she was wearing that...BRENDA smile. Can you imagine the reunion in heaven...what it's like. I can see them there, all having a precious time. We will see them again one day. We honestly do not know when God has chosen our day. Thank you Jesus for giving us life here on this earth to enjoy our family and friends, and also, thank you Jesus for preparing that wonderful place called Heaven where we can call home when our days on earth are through. I pray that he will give you all abundant strength and courage to face each day. Keep her close by keeping all the wonderful memories you have together. Lean on God. He will help you through.

We are so sorry to hear about Brenda. Such a fine lady and such a pleasure to work with at Yadkin Valley Bank. As the Branch manager at the Yadkin Valley Bank, Downtown West Jefferson, she was loved and respected by her employees and her customer base. I certainly enjoyed the years we worked together and she was always willing to do whatever was asked of her and she always went to bat for the employee's of the WJ Branch.
My prayer is that God will surround you with his comfort and grace as only he can do.
You will continue to be in our prayers going forward and may God Bless you and the family during this difficult time.

We were so sorry to hear about your loss. It is hard to believe that someone can be gone so quickly! This is just a reminder to the rest of us just how quickly God can come and take us home. Your hearts can feel peace knowing that Brenda was ready to go and when God called her name she didn't even blink an eye. She just stopped what she was doing and left with him. Knowing that she is in Heaven today, having the best family reunion ever, must put a smile on your face. There will always be a place in your heart that will miss Brenda but if you will let God have complete control, you will feel the comfort and the love that only he can give you. We are so sorry that you are in pain today from this sudden loss and we will be praying for you and your whole family. We have no words that can take the pain away but God has the words to comfort and to restore your heart. Know that Brenda is sitting with her mom and dad and they are having the best time ever. There is no sad good-byes in Heaven and there will never be departures again!! God is Good and his mercy will rein forever. Trust in him today and let him take all your hurt away. God loves you more than you loved Brenda...now imagine that!! Please let us know if there is anything we can do for any of you. You are in our thoughts and prayers and we will all see her again soon!!~~~~~~~~~~~

I remember staying with Brenda and Jerry while my mom was working third shift. Jerry and I would get up early and we would sit in the kitchen and each deli meat every morning. I will always remember Brenda getting up and catching us!! She would laugh and then ask us what we thought we would be eating for lunch, as we had eaten alll the meat. Brenda was a extrordinary woman, and so kind to everyone she met. At least we know she went home to be with the Lord. To all Brenda's family,
Brenda and I worked together at First Citizens Bank many years ago. I always knew when I say Brenda, she would have a funny story to tell (usually on something she had done) to bring a smile or moment of joy. Not everyone in life has that gift, but she did. She was such a blessing to be around. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Please know you are all in my prayers. Her physical person will be greatly missed, but the memories we all have who knew here will be with us forever....I can still remember some of her stories and they bring a smile.
