Mrs. Nona Belle Greene Frazier, age 88, of West Jefferson passed away Sunday morning, May 27, 2012at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 11:00am at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00pm on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Frazier was born in Ashe County on Sunday, November 4, 1923 to the late Mack Daniel Mullis and Julia Hodge. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Robert L. Frazier and Blan Hill Greene; one brother, Robert H. Mullis; and one sister, Virginia May Carr. She is survived by two daughters, Ann McNeill and husband Tony of Raleigh, and Sandy Grubb and husband Jeff of West Jefferson; one sister; Lillian Miller of West Jefferson; four grandchildren; Troy McNeill and wife Kerry of Asheville, Scott Grubb and wife Jodi of West Jefferson, Justin Grubb and wife Tiffany of West Jefferson, and Hollie Brown and husband Kevin of West Jefferson; eight great-grandchildren; Kate, Julia, Thomas and Lauren McNeill; Sydney Kate, and Hallie Grubb; and Jake and Peyton Grubb; several nieces and nephews also survive.
