Mrs. Mary Carolyn Allen, age 63, of Jefferson passed away Tuesday morning, May 29, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:00am at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Roan Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Allen was born in Ashe County on Friday, January 7, 1949 to Francis Clifton (Cliff) and Ruby Craven Allen. She was owner and operator at Mary Allen Interiors and later she was a real estate broker for Century 21 in Banner Elk. She is survived by her parents, Cliff and Ruby Allen of Jefferson; a brother, James Clifton Allen, of Jefferson; a niece, Korissa Marie Allen, of Sarasota, Florida; a nephew, Cameron James Allen and wife, Ashley, of Laurel Springs; a great niece, Rylee Allen also survive.
