Mrs. Beulah Marie Worley Sturgill, age 94, of Todd, passed away Thursday July 26, 2012 at Margate Health and Rehab. Graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00 Beaver Creek Christian Church Cemetery with Dr. Jim Dawes and Rev. JD Walton officiating. Mrs. Sturgill was born in Ashe County on August 3, 1917 to the late Ferdanio Curtis Sturgill and Saferna Grogan. She is preceded in death by her husband Denver Lee Sturgill and a grandson Eric Sturgill. Mrs. Sturgill is survived by one son; Gary Sturgill of Boone; one daughter; Carol Cornette of High Point; three grandchildren; Greg Cornette and wife Karen of Todd, Bonita Page of High Point, and Debra Ivery and husband Jeff of High Point; five great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
