Mrs. Judy Carolyn Pennington Crawford Miller, age 64, of Jefferson, died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 3:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Casey officiating. Entombment will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the home of Marie Pennington, 126 Valley Drive, Jefferson, NC 28640. Mrs. Miller was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on Saturday October 4, 1947 to Marie Eldreth and to the late John Mack Pennington. She is preceded in death by her husband; Stewart Miller; and first husband; Fred Crawford. She is survived by her son; Rev. John Crawford and wife Sandee of Jefferson; mother; Marie Pennington of Jefferson; special friends; Earl "Brownie" Hodges of West Jefferson, Frankie Treadway of Jefferson, Frankie Farrington of Jefferson, Patricia Morgan of West Jefferson, Linda Goss of Jefferson, Wanda Simmons of Fleetwood, Danny and Barbara Hodges of Todd, Dane and Sherri Hodges of West Jefferson, Paul and Fredia Hardy of West Jefferson, and Janice Pennington and Dwayne of West Jefferson.
