Brayden Hawke Roten, age 2, of West Jefferson passed away Saturday Sept. 22, 2012 in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 12:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Church and Rev. Chuck Call officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-12pm on Tuesday two hours prior to the funeral. He is also preceded in death by two grandfathers; Thomas Myers and Howard Roten; and one great-grandmother; Opal Myers. He is survived by his father; Michael Ray Roten; mother; Jessica Hope Myers; one brother; Michael Roten, Jr. of Boomer; two sisters; Zoey Roten of West Jefferson and Madison Roten of Boomer; two grandmothers; Evelyn Bell of Millers Creek and Patricia Myers of West Jefferson; two great-grandparents; Wanda Spears of West Jefferson and Charlie Clonch of Traphill; one great great-grandmother; Ester Pennington of West Jefferson; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
