Mrs. Jessie Goodman Baldwin, age 79, of Fleetwood, passed away Sunday afternoon, November 18, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Homer Murdock officiating. Burial will follow in the Goodman Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Wednesday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Baldwin was born in Ashe County on Monday, November 28, 1932 to the late Thomas Blackburn Goodman and Faye Taylor Goodman. She owned her roping and wreath business. She enjoyed working in her flowers in her spare time. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Baldwin, of Fleetwood; a son, Gary Baldwin, of Fleetwood; a brother, Thomas B. Goodman, of Dallas, TX; several nieces and nephews also survive.
