To Glendora's family and To her best friend for life Ila Mae Phillips who is 4 years older than Glen, "100" and to the rest of her VOA Family.
Glendora was know as one who welcomed anyone to 'VOA' and always had a kind word to speak of almost everyone she met and glendora in her younger years painted and carved and scultputed fine art with those now loving hands that she loved to give hugs and kiss people on the Face as a kindness and affection that grew throughtout the Villages of Ashe. I could always tell if Glen was felling up/down just from that peck on the cheeck. Some others could tell, but she always expected me to pick up on that and go to her room and ask her what was bothering her that day! i still till this moment, still do not believe that "My Adopted -- Granmother is Has passed on to a better life. I will always miss you in person, but know that you are there with me in spirit and in my heart. glendora got to know to mom and my mother (ie. grandmother, something very few people get to know, and they both enjoyed their time together). throught Glendora I was introduced to wounderful, careing lady that has been giving wounderful talents by GOD and one is being able to listen to her fellow CHILDREN OF GOD and do so without judging them, just listening and then giving, what I think is sound advice, Ila Mae Phillips. If any of you need to talk about those VOA times you can call me anytime @ 385-9019
