Mrs. Kathryn Neomia Keaton Osborne, age 75, of Lansing passed away Monday morning, January 14, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy McClure officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Thursday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Osborne was born June 18, 1938 in Ashe County to Andrew Jackson Keaton and Gladys Paisley. She is preceded in death by her husband Garland Eugene Osborne. She is survived by two sons; Danny Eugene Osborne and wife Brenda of Grassy Creek and Donnie Lee Osborne of Glendale Springs; two daughters; Mary Wantland of West Jefferson and Julie Triplett of Lansing; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
