Mrs. Tressa Mae Calhoun Tucker, age 93, of Newport News, Virginia, formerly of Ashe County died Sunday night, February 11, 2013. A private graveside services was held at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Larry Shepherd officiating. Mrs. Tucker was born in Ashe County on June 27, 1918 to the late Corles and Lula Greer Calhoun. She worked a Sprague Electric. She was a loving grandmother and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle G. Tucker on October 26, 2002 and a son, Brice D. Tucker on February 6, 2000. S Mrs. Tucker is survived by two granddaughters, Lisa Thomas, of Gloucester, VA and Anita Daniel, of New Orleans.
