Mrs. Elizabeth Eastridge Tucker, better known as Lib, age 72, of West Jefferson passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 14, 2013. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 17, 2013 at 6:00 pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Shepherd and Rev. Dan Hess officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00pm, two hours prior to the funeral service. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:00am in the Tucker Family Cemetery. Mrs. Tucker was born in McDowell County on Monday, July 1, 1940 to the late Grady Howard and Lora Mae Hogan Eastridge. She was the secretary for Miller Insurance Agency. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wayne Tucker on May 14, 1990. Mrs Tucker is survived by two sons, Robert Tucker and wife, Beth, of Buford, GA and Christopher Tucker and wife, Leanne, of Claremont, NC; two brothers, Harold Eastridge, of Lansing and Curtis Eastridge and wife, Judy, of West Jefferson; a sister, Pat Henderson and husband, Max, of Lansing; four grandchildren, Ryan Tucker, Justin Tucker, Bradley Tucker and Gracie Tucker; several nieces and nephews also survive.
