Mrs. Rosa Belle Pennington Miller, age 94, of Todd passed away Tuesday morning, May 14, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 3:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Cornell officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm on Saturday, May 18, 2013 two hours prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Miller was born in Ashe County on Thursday, March 20, 1919 to the late Clinton E. and Ada Graybeal Pennington. She retired from Sprague Electric Company. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir for many years. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Paul Miller. Mrs. Miller is survived by two sons, Marion Miller, of West Jefferson and Warren Miller and wife, Sylvia, of Warrensville; a daughter, Brenda Hartzog and husband, Jacob, of Pinnacle, NC; two brothers, Chester Blaine Pennington and wife, Sybil, of Delaware and Bobby Joe Pennington, of Delaware; a sister, Ella Baldwin and husband, Dale, of West Jefferson; five grandsons; one granddaughter; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
