Mr. Robert Lee Cearley, age 75, of Grassy Creek, died Monday, January 26, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Joe Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Barker Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service. Mr. Cearley was born in Ashe County on Monday, July 24, 1933 to the late Cicero Cearley and Ella Mae Barker Cearley. He was an Agricultural Farmer. Mr. Cearley is survived by several cousins.
