Mr. John Allen Brincefield, better known as "Jack" age 76, of West Jefferson passed away Sunday morning, June 2, 2013 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 4pm at Life Christian Center in Jefferson Station with Rev. Rick Barker officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the memorial service. A reception will be held following the services. Mr. Brincefield was born in Miami, Florida on Wednesday, March 17, 1937 to the late Charles Earl and Frances Brawn Brincefield. He retired from Sears, where he worked as Computer Tech. They later moved to Ashe County where he worked as a Contractor. He is survived by his wife, of 52 years of marriage, Alice Bassols Brincefield; a son, Chuck Brincefield, of West Jefferson; a brother, Bob Brincefield, of Coconut Creek, Florida; a sister, Earlene Nesselrote, of Kenton, Georgia; several nieces and nephews also survive.
