Edna Mae Miller, age 88, of McGrady formerly of West Jefferson passed away June 8th, 2013 at the home of her daughter Rebecca Ann Hall. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Sheets and Rev. Keith Styron officiating. Burial will follow in the Foster-Mash Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Boone Family Funeral Home. Edna Mae Miller was born in Princeton, West Virginia on Thursday, September 11, 1924 to the late Jess and Ruby Lawson Miller. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Ann Hall of McGrady, North Carolina; two sons, James Mack Miller and wife Thelma of Winston Salem, Bobby Ray Miller and wife Linda of Clover, South Carolina; a sister Lola Odom of Winston Salem. She was also blessed with 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces; several nephews. Ms. Edna was preceded in death by her husband Milt Miller; a son, Billy Dean Miller; a stepmother, Maude Miller; three brothers, Luther Miller, Bill Miller, Mack Miller. Ms. Edna worked at Sprague Electric in her early years and later in life was known for making biscuits and cobblers at "The Winners Circle" Restaurant and "Greenfield" Restaurant. Most everyone who knew her called her "Granny." She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Flowers are accepted.
