Mrs. Carol Jones Trivette, age 62 of Fleetwood passed away Thursday evening, June 20, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 2:00pm at Liberty Grove Baptist Church with Rev. David Long and Rev. John Elledge officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Saturday at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Trivette was born in Watauga County on November 26, 1950 to Samuel Dewey Jones and Ethel Parsons Jones. She was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church and sang in the church choir, a Sunday School Teacher, and member of Liberty Belles (ladies missions group). Mrs. Trivette is preceded in death by her father, Sam Jones. She is survived by her husband; JC Trivette; two daughters; Amanda Trivette and Misty Billings and husband Shane of Fleetwood; one son; Adam Trivette of Raleigh; her mother; Ethel Jones of Todd; two brothers; Clyde Jones and wife Cathy of Boone and Ray Jones and wife Wanda of Fleetwood; five sisters; Beulah Greer and husband Otis of West Jefferson, Dorothy Watson and husband Richard of Lenoir, Jean Greer and husband Jerry of Lenoir, Mildred Trivette and husband Ervil of Creston, and Virginia Miller and husband Junior of Dover, DE; three aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
