Mr. Archie Lavone Law, age 81 of Steinhatchee, Florida, formerly of Ashe County passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 in Florida. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with military rites. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 one hour prior to the memorial service. Mr. Law was born in Canal Point, Florida on Sunday, October 18, 1931 to the late James Ivey and Alma Mae Culbrath Law. He retired from the United States Army. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Alberta Lougenia Raines Law. Mr. Law is survived by three daughters, Darlene Fuqua, of Steinhatchee, Florida, Shirley Stultz, of Pompano beach, Florida and Teresa Lynn Law; two brothers, Raymond Law, of Ohio and Ray Law, of Florida; two sisters, Marie Law Mcffaffee, of Florida and Martha Ann Short of Jonesboro, TN; two grandchildren, Amy Carlson and Stephen Kriner, both of Jacksonville, Florida; several nieces and nephews also survive.
