Mrs. Linda Gail Roark Borror, age 52, of Creston passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at her home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 11:00am at Roark Cemetery. Mrs. Borror was born in Watauga County on Saturday, September 23, 1961 to the late Jewel and Dessie Mae Trivette Roark. She was a waitress at Shatley Springs Restaurant. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Mark Roark and a nephew, Scott Roark. Mrs. Borror is survived by two brothers, Mike Roark and wife, Paula, of Hudson and Elwood Roark, of Hudson; a half-brother, Allen Roark, of West Jefferson; three half-sisters, Cindy Phipps, of Lansing, Teresa Price, of Conover, NC and Shelia Shook of Hudson, NC; several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted.
