Mr. Howard Cicero Miller, age 90, of West Jefferson passed away Saturday evening at his home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11am at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military rites. The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Thursday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mr. Miller is survived by: 1 son Steve Miller of West Jefferson 1 brother Franklin Miller of Millers Creek 5 sisters Lora Jane Miller of West Jefferson Ruby Juanita Miller of Glendale Springs Evia Zell Miller of West Jefferson Zula Mar Miller Goldie Carolyn Miller 1 grandson; several nieces and nephews also survive.
