Mr. Fields Anderson Harless Jr. "better known as F.A. Harless", age 77, of West Jefferson died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 3:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. JD Walton, Rev. Tim Roten, and Pastor Chuck Call officiating. Burial will follow in the Jefferson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 2-3pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Harless was born in Ashe County on Saturday, July 25, 1936 to the late Fields Anderson and Nora Beatrice Crane Harless. He was a member of Ashe County Worship Center. He is survived by his wife; Edith Huneycutt Harless; three daughters;Donna Harless Jones and husband Jerry of West Jefferson, Darlene Harless Blevins of West Jefferson, and Rebecca Dianne Harless Hitt and husband Michael of West Jefferson; one sister; Mary Lou Huneycutt and husband Max of Albemarle, NC; four grandchildren; Jason Jones, Sarah Jones, Amber Blevins, and Jesse Blevins; one great-grandson; Nathan Anderson Duncan.
