Mrs. Joy Ann Hall Talbert, age 50, of Oakboro, NC, formerly fo Ashe County passed away Saturday at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwight Mabry and Rev. Kinney Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the Cranberry Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Monday at Hartsell Funeral Home at 522 North Second Street in Albemarle. Mrs. Talbert is survived by: Her husband Robert Lee Talbert of the home 1 daughter Margaret Cook of Laurel Springs 1 brother Gary Hall of West Jefferson 3 half brothers Clinton Hall of Mt. Airy Talmadge Hall of High Point Robert Rominger of Winston-salem 2 half sisters Dorcus Wagoner of Sparta Lillie Mae Davis of Danville, VA 2 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
