Mrs. Debra Church Pruitt better known as Debbie, age 49 of Grassy Creek passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 afternoon in Warrensville. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Scott Blevins Cemetery in Lansing. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the funeral service at Boone Family Funeral Home. Debra was born in Ashe County on April 27, 1964 to Clifford and the Late Fannie McClure Church. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Church and Cleta Church. Mrs. Pruitt is survived by her husband, Mickey Pruitt of West Jefferson; three sons, James Coldiron and wife Vanessa of West Jefferson, Brandon Coldiron of West Jefferson, Matthew Coldiron of West Jefferson; a step-son Michael Pruitt of West Jefferson; her father, Clifford Church of Lansing; three brothers, Roger Church and wife Joanne of Lansing, Kenny Church and wife Janet of Savannah, Georgia, Mike Church of Creston; four grandchildren, Lilly Coldiron of West Jefferson, Holly Coldiron of West Jefferson, Reggie Coldiron of West Jefferson, Yadden Coldiron of West Jefferson; several nieces and nephews.
