My heart goes out to Foy's family, in the lost of a wonderful dad and grandpa, but we know he is so much better off now and free of pain! I worked by the side of Foy for almost 20 years in maint for Ashe County, and I have never known a better Christian man than Foy was. Always a ready smile for everyone, very honest in his dealings, so proud of his family, loved his church family and his Lord. I'm satisfied he is with them that went on before him, free of pain at last, no more worries, receiving his reward. My prayers are with you, Jim G.

May God comfort you at this time. My dad, Robert Arwood, preached revivals in your area of North Carolina, many years ago. We spent many nights with Uncle Edd and Aunt Alice Bare, also with Con & Lucy McMillan, I was a teenager at that time. I knew Foy & Pauline and remember them having two children. We were always excited when Dad went there to preach, we had made some very good friends there, like Jerine & Joe McMillan. I have a lot of great memories of spending time with all the families there. God bless all of you
